Mandate, Policies and Governance
As the Mission statement of the organization stipulates, the purpose of the organization is to serve communities and improve their well-being through integrated relief and development initiatives.
The business of the organization is administered by the Board of Directors (BOD), which has the general supervision and control of the affairs of the organization. The BOD prescribes policies consistent with the constitution for the management of its business and the guidance of its members, officers, and employees.
- A 5-member Board of Directors guides and directs the management of the organization.
- The day-to-day activities of the organization are managed by an executive committee led by the Executive Director and supported by technical staff.
